Hotel de Gletscher is a small, tranquil haven tucked away in Staffal, one of Gressoney’s more peaceful villages. With just twelve rooms, it’s the perfect alpine escape to truly switch off and unwind. Its location provides excellent access to the slopes of the vast Monterosa Ski area; guests are just a two-minute bus ride from the Staffal Sant’Anna ski lift, or a short six-minute stroll from the challenging Moos black run.
Inside, the design creates a cosy atmosphere, with wooden beams, stone walls, and the welcoming glow of a crackling fire. After an invigorating day exploring the Italian slopes, you can settle in with an après drink at the bar, or soak up the stunning mountain vistas on the sun terrace when the weather is bluebird. For ultimate downtime, a wellness area featuring a sauna and steam bath is available for a small charge.
Mornings begin with a continental breakfast of fresh bread, cold cuts, and fruit, setting you up for the day. In the evenings, you can enjoy a delicious three-course meal showcasing authentic local flavours—hearty cooking that feels just right after a day in the mountains.
