Hotel Gran Baita, Sauze d'Oulx, Italy

We chose Italy due to the great snow records and food and I was not dissappointed. The resort is lively, but great for all ages. My boyfriend and I had gone to France earlier in the year and had been shocked at the price of a well deserved beer after hitting the slope. We both found the prices in resort very competitive. We had the best snow I had ever experienced, most days it felt like I was floating down the pistes. The only draw back to Sauze d'Oulx is the lack of bubble lifts. Chairs lifts can be quite time consuming when trying to get up the mountain. On the weekend when all the locals came out to ski there was a lot of queues, this may be expected with the amount of chairs on resort. Despite this the conditions and resort I really enjoyed this holiday and will definately plan to return.
