Self-cater on your Scandi ski trip at the Gaustablikk Apartments – a modern stay with standout views of the ski slopes on the Gaustatoppen mountain. Location-wise, it’s all on your doorstep here, so you can be hopping on a lift or picking up supermarket essentials in a matter of minutes.
They’ve kept things low-key in the looks department, sticking with a simple grey and white colour scheme. The compact kitchenettes tick off all the essentials when it comes to cooking, and if you go for a 1-bedroom apartment you’ll also get a dishwasher to help take care of tidying up.
It’s a no frills affair on the facilities front, but there’s plenty close at hand. Swing by Loftet bar for après-ski drinks next to the slopes or pop across to the Gaustablikk Mountain Resort to make the most of the extras there. A minute’s walk away, the hotel’s Kirk Bar is the perfect place for pre-dinner tipples or you can pay extra to use the wellness area – check out the duo of floating saunas for the ultimate in Norwegian-style relaxation.
