Espace San Bernardo ski area
This very popular ski area is made up between the resorts of La Rosiere, France and La Thuille, Italy which together offer some of the finest snow conditions worldwide. Nestled in the middle of the Alpes in the Aosta Valley with spectacular views of Mont Blanc, this is truely an international destination to visit at least once in your life time. In fact, one ski pass is all you will need to ski both resorts without borders.
On your doorstep are over a 150 kms of piste and 73 runs to ski. There are plenty of greens, blues, reds and blacks to suit all levels. La Rosiere is normally preffered by the beginners with La Thuille offering slightly more challenging terrain over the border. There is also a ski jump and a snow park, the Espace San Bernardo ski area, will satisfy all your winter sports requirements.
Both resorts are packed full of authentic alpine charm. The pistes rise to an altitude of 2,600m and the whole area is usually bathed in sunshine, intensifying the enjoyment of your winter wonderland experience.

Regarded as a gateway to Italian culture, La Rosiere is a unpretentious and family friendly resort and its slopes are quieter than those of its French neighbours. It has a main village centre and a quieter base Les Eucherts but more recently the resort has opened its own new ski area. The Mont Valaisan sits at the easten side of resort and has 5 red runs that are accessed by 2 chairlifts. It marks the highest peak of the Espace San Bernardo whilst opening up amazing off-piste possibilities with views of Mont Blanc and Mont Pourri.
La Thuille resort is based on an old mining village that has been restored and expanded whilst retaining its authentic Italian charm. It also has improved on-mountain facilities with a number of newly opened slopeside restaurants for some delicious Italian cuisine at lunch.
