Situated along the Heidsee valley and the lake of the same name, Graubünden's Lenzerheide is a picturesque ski resort. Lenzerheide may be a lesser-known resort but after the launch of a new cable car linking the area with Arosa in December 2013 and creating a new area spanning 225km, it may not be such a secret for much longer. The resort has a number of bars and restaurants to keep visitors entertained in the evenings, as well as sledging runs and cafes for afternoon entertainment.

Skiing in Lenzerheide, Graubünden
There are 225 km of pistes in total across the Lenzerheide and Arosa areas with options to suit all abilities. The off-piste is even more extensive, and tends to remain untracked for days due to the quietness of the area. There is a large selection of blue runs above Lenzerheide while intermediates should head towards Arosa for more red pistes.

The snow in Switzerland is usually on top form with plenty of snow being dumped on the pistes perfect for powder skiing, however natural snowfall cannot be guaranteed throughout the whole season so there are snow making facilities across the slopes but most of the time aren't needed to be used.
