The three best things about the Club Med in St Moritz are the food, the people and the value. There are two gourmet mountain restaurants associated with the Club Med up the mountain, making lunch a pleasurable mountain dining experience included in the cost of the holiday. Having authentic mountain restaurants as part of the paid for lunch option really enlivens the dining experience. There is a healthy mix of nationalities- German, French, Italian, Dutch and Scandinavian-staying at the hotel. There is a cosmopolitan and polyglot atmosphere in which English is widely spoken along with other languages . Finally, while St Moritz is an expensive resort, the Club Med is the best way of getting a reasonable value holiday here without hidden costs. It is a great way to visit one the world’s most iconic resorts.

Overall

This holiday was fantastic on all levels. All inclusive meant all food, drinks, lift passes, ski school and transfers were in the holiday price and we didn't spend a penny, apart from the last day when we visited a spa in a posh hotel and paid £20 for a cup of tea!! Ski instructor Anna was excellent and tailored our progression according to our ability. However, this resort is not for the unfit, due to the mountainous terrain and a fair amount of lugging skis and poles. The hotel was superb and had such a brilliant international vibe with great apres ski. Made new friends and all spoke English. Families and children all catered for. 10/10!

Had a fantastic holiday in Jan 13. . Great food, compact but suitable rooms, social life and of course marvellous skiing with a fun group and a well organised ski instructor who was a blast. We'll certainly return. John
