Skiing in Taesch
Taesch has an altitude level of 1449m and holds 15km of cross-country trails which is very popular with both locals and tourists. For skiing and snowboarding visitors tend to head to Zermatt which is a short 6km distance from Taesch. Here skiers will find a huge terrain of well groomed pistes with plenty of marked runs and off-piste skiing area. Taesch has a singular drag lift and one piste and at low altitude and no snow makinf facilties snow conditions can be quite low. When snowfall conditions are good the slope is perfect for all skiers looking to practice their skills. For snowboarders there is a fun park and half pipe available.
