Contactless catered chalet holidays

Contactless Catering

What is contactless catering?

Contactless catering is the 'Next generation of chalet holidays, for a contactless world' according to the organiser of these catered chalet holidays. Contactless catering gives you the flexibility to choose two catering options for your chalet, one a straightforward option which has a pre set menu where meals are delivered almost complete with just the need to put them in the oven. The second more flexible option (A la carte) gives you the chance to order specific ingredients from a list of provisions to create your own menus and meal (and drinks!) experience.

What is included in contactless catering or A la carte catering?

Contactless catering includes the supplies you’ll need for breakfast every morning, afternoon snacks, pre-dinner nibbles and dinner on 6 evenings.
The chalet supplier will supply and stock your fridge and cupboards and depending if you have selected contactless catering or the A la carte option you will either heat up and enjoy the dishes in the order you wish or build them from scratch at the time you want to eat. And if you fancy having your chocolate mousse at 5pm and then paté and tartiflette at 9pm you can!

A La Carte catering gives more flexibility for the meals on your chatered chalet holiday, four days before your arrival you will receive a comprehensive provisions list with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. That might be oven-ready meals, or the ingredients you'll need for Bolognaise, Soufflés or Cheese Fondues. Dry goods, dairy, fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat or fish, beers, wines, champagne, whatever, all bought for you and stocked in advance.

When you arrive at your chalet it will be ready stocked and have a mid-week re-stock of provisions if needed.

Other information

Vegetarian and vegan options available (gluten free and lactose intolerant available too with supplement)

At breakfast the supply of eggs & bacon and yoghurts is based on a choice of either a yoghurt or 1-2 eggs and 1-2 rashers of bacon each day per person, it is not an unlimited supply. The beer supplied is again not unlimited but should allow you to quench your thirst after skiing.
Dishwasher tablets are supplied and washing up liquid and the supplier asks that you clean all the dishes and ensure the kitchen stays clean. The mid-week clean does not include washing the dishes. The suppliers back-stage team come to clean after you leave they will expect the dishes to be washed and clean. If they have to do the dishes an extra charge will be made.
