Canillo is a small village linking to Soldeu ski resort and is part of the Grandvalira ski area which offers 210km of slopes. The Grandvalira ski area and whole area lift pass allows access to the other resorts of Encamp, Pas de la Casa, Soldeu and El Tarter.

Skiing in Canillo
Canillo is best for beginner and intermediate skiers as well as families as it is home to great ski schools and easy slopes.
More experienced skiers can still stay in Canillo, as it has interlinked access to the Grandvalira ski area which has slopes for all skiing and snowboarding abilities.

Canillo has a few restaurants and bars but there is a wider range in the larger resorts in the area.
Canillo also has a number of non skiing activities. Its Palau de Gel has an Olympic ice rink, pool and gym as well as other amenities. There is also the Mon(t) Magic circuit, a zipline at the top of the Canillo gondola which is the longest zipline in Europe as well as being the fastest in the Pyrenees. For those looking to explore Canillo’s culture, take a visit to its historic churches too such as the Iglesia de Sant Serni Church of Canillo. Or explore the motorcycle museum which has a display of motorbikes from the 1900s to the present day.
