Ski holidays in Gerlos
Gerlos is a quaint alpine hamlet situated on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol provinces. Gerlos is situated in the heart of the Zillertal Arena, one of the most central resorts in the area, allowing visitors to ski directly into the resort centre. With direct access to the Zillertal ski area via linking pistes and lifts, visitors can ski into the neighbouring resorts of Zell Am Ziller and Königsleiten.

Skiing in Gerlos
Gerlos offers 143km of terrrain ranging from altitudes of 1,300m to 2,505m above sea level. The resort offers a variety of runs and combined with extent of terrain and its excellently snoe record, it makes it one of the top intermediate ski areas in the Alps.
For beginners, the heart of Gerlos and at its mid station are beginner areas as well as over in Hochkrimml. Königsleiten also is the best place for off piste terrain and for freestylers, the snowpark Gerlos at Vorkogel lift presents its first Boarders Playground Snowpark in the area.
Snow conditions in Gerlos
The Zillertal Arena receives lots of snow and Gerlos is relatively high by Austrian standards. Gerlos resort also has snowmaking machines over 130km of slopes.
Après ski, restaurants and other activities in Gerlos
Gerlos has some of the best après ski in in the area and there are a number of bars in the resort for a lively après scene.
Other activities in the area include cross country skiing, tobogganing, snow tubing, hiking, paragliding and horse back riding.
