Rauris is a picturesque, old goldminers' valley with fresh clean air and crystal clear winters, situated in the Hohe Tauern National Park between the Gastein valley and Zell am See - amongst some of the highest mountains in Austria. A well-kept secret, the pretty alpine village of Rauris is a great destination for beginners, for mixed level groups of skiers and snowboarders and for families.
