Your Itinerary Arrive in Luosto After landing in Rovaniemi, you’ll make tracks north to Luosto, then collect your thermal clothes. The rest of the day is yours to explore the village and the surrounding snowy landscapes. Luosto Activities Today kicks off with tasters of snowmobiling and sleigh rides. You’ll then meet Santa’s elves, and try activities like tobogganing and reindeer lasso. There’s also the chance to celebrate the crossing of the Arctic Circle. Later on, you can join a full snowmobile adventure. If you opt for an evening trip, you might spot the Northern Lights as you travel through the snow. Free day in Luosto It’s up to you what you get up to today. Try out the downhill or cross-country ski routes, race down the toboggan slope, or build snowmen. You can also book onto excursions – reindeer safaris and husky rides are both on the menu. There’s an exciting evening planned, too. After a festive dinner, we’ll take you for your private meeting with the man himself – Santa Claus. Home Time - Luosto When your time at Santa Claus Village is over, Santa’s elves will take you back to the airport, ready for your flight home. Santa Claus Village Santa Claus Village is home to the big man himself. His official post office is here as well, so you can sit and write a note of your own, or order an official letter which Santa will post out to you. Elsewhere, you’ve got shops selling local goodies and handicrafts, plus an ice bar.
