Chalet Denali - Val d'Isere, France
Named after the highest peak in North America, the luxurious Chalet Denali is aptly named for its surroundings, sitting on Val d'Isère's quaint Chemin du Petit Alaska. The original timber and stone features are typical of Savoyard architecture, whilst its contemporary furnishings and open plan kitchen and living room creates a perfect blend between rustic charm and modern style.
Situated over three levels, the chalet can sleep up to eight guests in its four double bedrooms. The master bedroom, nestled in the eaves features a stunning bath tub in the room, perfect for couples looking for a bit of added romance. The other three bedrooms are located on the lower floor, each with its own en-suite bathroom, plus the added bonus of a hamman to help ease away the aches and pains after a hard day on the slopes.
On the first floor you'll find the open plan living and kitchen space, where the interior design is particularly eye catching, as it cleverly blends traditional architecture with a number of contemporary touches. These modern touches of furniture complement the natural wood and stone beautifully and the plush leather sofas are the perfect spot to sink into and take in the beautiful mountain vistas, through the floor to ceiling French doors. Head out through the doors onto the large south facing balcony and you'll find the private Jacuzzi, the perfect place to soak up the last of the evening sun, whilst enjoying the stunning views of Val d'Isère.
If it's too cold and snowy to venture out onto the balcony, then the roaring open fire place will keep you nice and toasty inside, whilst you enjoy dinner with friends or family around the spacious dining table, enjoy drinks around the kitchen bar, or collapse into the inviting sofas. If you're thinking of driving to the Alps this winter, then the chalet also has parking for two cars, we really think this is the perfect home from home for a winter getaway.
The Chalet is equipped of living room with a fireplace and satellite Apple TV. Fully equipped Kitchen with dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and electric coffee machine. Terrace with hot tub.
