Chalet Charmant Reviews

We booked a late deal to La Plagne and we were not disappointed. The Chalet was within easy reach of the Piste and a good selection of lifts to get us on our way. The Chalet had reasonable sized rooms for a French resort and the catering was superb. The reps and Chalet host were most amenable. Fortunately it was snowing the day we arrived in resort. This provided and excellent week of skiing. There are plenty of Blue runs in La Plagne, ideal for everyone. The Red runs were kept in better shape though. One negative, the lifts are not manned efficiently. We often waited an unacceptable time to load when all that was needed was a gentle word from the lift attendants. Overall, we would go back. It's not top of our list of favourite resorts, but pleasant enough! Have to say, the journey up the mountain was the best we have ever had (and we have had many!) the driver stopped to put snow chains on and made a difficult journey bearable. Please pass on our thanks. Given the Apres Ski a 1 as we didn't take advantage of the nightlife!
