Chalet des Neiges I Reviews

Decent high altitude French alps resort. Ski in possible via marginal off piste. Ski out less optional. Note the Ibex is at the very top of this typical 6/7 storey chalet complex and lift only takes you up 3 floors! Boot room at floor 3.5. Basic but adequate. Cosy chalet over 2 floors. Usual smallish rooms. Spacious lounge area. Chalet catering very good. Stock wine OK although some or us went for the red wine upgrade which I'd say was good. Apres ski OK. Cheaper bars with cheap beer more for the younger generation. As for Iglu.. I'd say excellent. Good contact & communications throughout. Could have done with some piste direction etc and local 'intel' but necessary host changes didn't permit. Temp host still excelled though. Pretty good holiday all round.
