Hotel Val Claret Reviews

Club Med treated us to a few days in Val Claret resort and it was everything promised and more. My first four tridant CM and I really noticed the amazing quality of the food and service. Well worth it. The comunal areas were really soft and relaxing too - something I worry you miss with hotels and I like an afternoon nap when skiing, but this one has a really nice relaxing cosy sofa action. My balcony looked up the Grand Motte too, were treated to a full moon and lovely views.

What a great way to kick off the season. The hotel was outstanding and the location of the property is unbeatable. You can ski straight back to the door for lunch and enjoy the culinary delights that the hotel has to offer. The staff were excellent and the rooms were very comfortable and some have a view of the piste. I can highly recommend this hotel!

Club Med Tignes is in a perfect location, with ski-in ski-out access to the piste right beside the Bollin Chairlift. The Children's beginners area is directly below the sun deck, allowing parents to monitor their kids' progress in the most comfortable way possible. Best priced rooms are Petit Claret Twins, located in a separate building directly across the road from the main building, accessed through an underground tunnel. While these rooms are perfectly fine, it's well worth going for an upgrade to one of the Club Room Slope View rooms, which are larger and have amazing views.

Club Med Tignes ticked all our boxes. Surrounded by skiing, it was perfect for our family. We didn't want to walk too far with our little one and this Club Med village did the trick. Great food and the staff were amazing. I'm going to try one of the other Club Meds next time just to say I've done them all.

Generally we had a fantastic holiday. Extremey friendly and efficient staff in all areas. Bar facility and sun terrace very good. Would have liked a hot tub on the sun terrace! Pool very crowded so only used once. The room was better than we had thought since the man on the phone when we booked the holiday had said how basic and small it was, it was fine and had everything we needed. We don't have any children but I think their entertainment must have been good as we didn't really see any of the many children that were there when we were which was good for us. The food was generally very good but my partner did find and elastic band on some meat which had been carved for him and also was given some chicken not properly cooked through.
