Zell am See is not a large ski area, but the skiing is good, nice mountain resturants and is linked to Kaprun on the local area lift pass and Saalbach/Hinterglenn on the main lift pas. Both worth a visit. Zell am See id good if you have non skiers in the party as there are plenty of activiteis for non skiers. Thre is also a train station so non skiers could venture out. some nice Apres Ski bars. Hotel St Georg very good, good food, room comfortable and a reasonable size. The hotel is run by a very friendly Austrian family who were always at breakfast and dined with everyone in the evening. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location, not in teh centre of town so away from the noise but within walking distance to the main lift
