KITZBUHEL - 26/11/2012
Overall

The world famous ski resort of Kitzbuhel has some of the best skiing in Austria, with fabulous scenery and awesome nightspots. Not only does it attracted hundreds of budding skiers as the host of the World cup ski races and welcomes people to challenge the famous 'Streif' slope - considered the world cup circuit's toughest event - the Thurn Pass is one of the largest ski regions in Austria making this a perfect resort for those less competitive and more interested in cruising the kilometres of piste and relaxing in a deckchair with a hot mug of Gluehwein.

Austrian character combined with greaqt skiing. - 22/11/2012
Overall

Ultra pictureque Kitzbuhel is difficult to beat in terms of charm and skiing. With it's world famous pedestrian high street. medieval painted houses, historic churches and a resort surrounded by the fearsome Hanenkamm, skiers know they're in for a good week as soon as they arrive. Accommodation is typical Austrian whether budget or lavish which means smart above average size bedrooms, welcoming staff and great food. The vast ski area provides miles of skiing for all standards, from the gentlest tree lined runs to the World Cup run which keeps even the Ski Sunday stars quiet. Locals have been providing high standards for generations and do it with pride and enthusiasm, perfect for skiers wanting a change from some high altitude resorts bereft of typical Alpine soul.

Kitzbuhel Holiday - 22/11/2012
Overall

We had a great visit and holiday to Kitzbuhel and found it to be an all round, friendly, traditional and fun resort with good apres and restaurants. Make sure you give The Londoner a try. A super pub and where getting tipsy is a whole new term. We also had a great night out tasting the local fondue. We found there was plenty of skiing above the tree line and also in the wood in bad weather. Most of the lifts are new with good variation on the piste. It's only a short transfer which is great for families. What is different is that you can ski both sides of the mountain with plenty of mountain restaurants to stop in at and have a warming drink. Alcoholic or not if preferred! Overall a super holiday and beautiful, traditional town feel.Give it a go.

For those who prefer a good natter than live music, then La Fonda is perfect palce for banter and beers with mates or the friendly staff. Its also a great place for good food at an affordable price.

The Londoner - 21/11/2012
Overall

The Londoner is one of Kitz's main apres haunts, and has been for decades. Its regular band, "The Short N Curlies" have been ensuring the resorts reputation for lively apres for years, and never dissappoint.
