If you’re looking for an affordable and quiet base for your trip to St Anton, then the Alpenhof is for you. This 3* hotel is full of character and offers a friendly welcome, traditional rooms and good, filling food – what more could you want?
The Alpenhof is around 15 minutes’ walk from the resort centre, so it’s far enough away from the crowds that you’ll be sure of a good night’s sleep. If you don’t fancy the walk in the morning, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the centre and lifts – and the free resort ski bus stops right outside too. If you want to try skiing in Lech or Zurs, you can also catch a bus there from right outside.
The rooms are a good size, with comfy beds and private bathroom facilities. A real bonus is the small wellness area, which has a sauna and steam room – all free to use. There’s also a small bar if you don’t feel like trekking back to town for after-dinner drinks.
Mealtimes are simple but have everything you need – a good continental spread at breakfast, plus a couple of hot options, and a well-prepared 3-course dinner in the evening.

Twin room (Annexe) - sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private shower and WC.
Twin room - sleeps 2-3: Separate twin beds,single sofa bed, private shower and WC.
Single room - sleeps 1: Single bed, private shower and WC.
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
Please note: The annexe is less than a 1-minute walk from the main hotel and can be accessed via the garden.
