La Falaise Apartments Reviews
Nice resort, but why is it French coach drivers refuse to turn on the air conditioning. The coach was boiling and the winding roads don't make it a very pleasant transfer. The arrival was a bit confused, dropping luggage off in tin boxes and not getting it until 4 /5 the same day. Especially when you do check in and rooms are ready. Maybe a call on the way up to resort could solve this farce. Reps were good, texts are very handy. We didn't need the reps while on holiday but useful to know how to get them if you do need them. I'm not a great fan of France when it comes to skiing resorts are always pretty dirty and expensive and not a lot different here, but if you ignore that the resort is reasonably good. Just lacks the charm of an Austrian resort. Apartment was larger than expected for a French 4 bed self catering. Although we did have an issue with trying to be charged for a remote control we never had. Good location even without the option of ski in and ski out. For the price we can't complain. Skiing was good, again French resorts and piste layouts are not as enjoyable as other countries, never feel like your going anywhere just skiing up and down the same runs. All in all a good trip, Price was excellent. We only wanted a long weekend and in fact flew home on the Wednesday yet this was still the cheapest way to do it, and if I'd had the time I would have been happy to stay the whole week. Although Apres ski costs were starting to bite!
