Chalet Quatre Saisons, La Rosiere, France

Iglu say the slopes are 250m away from QS - this may be so 'as the crow files', but the crow doesn't have to take skis, either along the LONG traversing road or up the 'cut through' 'walk route'. Take the free bus, not a big deal at all (Chalet mini-bus was alwasy 'bagsied' for the 9.15 am run when we were there), just don't expect it to be a little stroll from the slopes. Food good. Kids are a bit of an after thought and their meals did run quite late with desert being offered at the same time as the adults. Good holiday over all. La Rosiere is good for families with mixed ability skiers - I think the snowboarders found some of the long shallow runs back a bit of a pain. The bus connecting the villages and accommodation were really good and easy to use - just ask the driver if unsure, they were fab. Would def go back to La Rosiere.
