Chalet White Moustache, Meribel, France
From its commanding position on the hillside, Chalet White Moustache provides a light and inviting home-from in which to spend a restful week in the mountains. The chalet is furnished in a contemporary style with traditional twists, such as the stylish combination of white-washed and alpine-wood-panelled walls. The cosy lounge with inviting corner sofa and stone fireplace is the place to retire for afternoon tea and cake after skiing in bad weather, or if the sun is out head for the large balcony off the living room and take in the views (or you may prefer to head straight for the hot tub). Bedrooms are light and airy, with a good mix of twin and double rooms, all are en suite and most have balcony or terrace access from which to take in the mountain air.
Chalet White Moustache is lucky enough to enjoy both the seclusion of a quiet location overlooking the valley, and also proximity to the superb skiing and busy town of Meribel. The ski bus stops 400 metres (approx.) from the chalet.
