Hunter Mountain has become one of the US’ top ski resorts for many reasons, including its exceptional customer service and amazing ski routes. Visitors can expect outstanding terrain, amazing ski schools and some beautiful accommodation.
The resort is ideal for both families and beginners, with a number of amazing trails for visitors to enjoy and develop their skills. Tourists can start with relatively easy routes and work towards some huge expert runs.
Children who are travelling on the slopes for the first time will also be left with plenty to do here, including the on-site Learning Centre, which is full of fun trails perfect for those new to the sport.

The wintry climate here means that amazing conditions can be expected between December and April every year. Dry spells are not a worry either, as snow-making is available on 100 per cent of runs.
Skiing in Hunter Mountain
There are 58 runs in total at the resort, which are split between beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert options, making it suitable for all kinds of skiers.
At its summit, the resort stands 3200ft tall and there are some breathtaking views to enjoy. The biggest vertical drop here is a massive 1600ft and there are two terrain parks for snowboarders. Overall, there is 240 acres of skiable terrain, presenting excellent variety for tourists.

Slopes is definitely the liveliest destination to visit on Hunter’s Mountain, with plenty of night-time attractions, including the highly popular Slopes. The venue offers live music, cheap drinks and a great atmosphere and is ideal for those wanting to let their hair down.
There are several exceptional restaurants in the resort, including Van Winkles and the Island Bar, both of which offer a seasonal menu along with excellent drinks and service.
For something a little different, travelers can take part in scenic skyrides and off-road 4x4 adventures, which will allow them to see the area’s amazing scenery up close.
