Convenience is key at the Sebastian, a luxury pick packed with perks. Kicking things off is the ski valet service, which takes care of all your slope essentials – from sorting equipment hire right there in the hotel to taking your gear to the hotel’s own slopeside ski shop, Base Camp. Add in live music at the bar, a top-notch spa and hot tubs where you can soak with snowy summits views, and the hotel has your off-slope hours sewn up too.

It hits the spot in the looks department as well. The lobby amps up that alpine vibe with its fireplace and rustic stone walls. And it’s more of the same in the Library lounge, where you can get comfy in an armchair with a drink from the bar and some traditional board games. As for where you’ll sleep, things are classically American – think spacious rooms and suites, which come with king or queen-size beds.

Meals aren’t included here, but you won’t have to go far to find great food – the hotel’s Leonora restaurant is one of the best picks in Vail. Swing by for the breakfast buffet and fuel up on State-side classics, like pancake stacks drizzled in syrup. Then in the evening, tuck into tapas-style dishes that add a Colorado twist to classic Spanish cooking.
