Whistler named number one in North America

Whistler named number one in North America Ski holidays in Whistler have just got a massive recommendation with Whistler Blackcomb being named the number one by SKIING Magazine for the tenth consecutive year.

The accolade joins other number one rankings from the likes of Freeskier, TransWorld Snowbaording and Forbes, all of which chose the Whistler Blackcomb as the best mountain there is in North America for skiers and snowboarders like you.

"Why has Whistler Blackcomb dominated our resort poll for ten years running? SKIING readers and the athletes we survey know the skiing kicks ass, that's why," said Marc Peruzzi, Editor-in-Chief of SKIING.

"The biggest vertical in North America, tonnes of advanced terrain, 400-plus inches of snow, and a rowdy party scene? doesn't hurt. Whistler Blackcomb goes off."

Ski holidays in Whistler certainly have plenty to offer. A host of great parks and pipes allow snowboarders to put their skills to the test, while the slopes available for skiers of all abilities are awesome.

With the venue recently added to the calendar for the 2007-08 World Cup, you know by taking a ski holiday in Whistler, you are skiing the best of the best.
